Ollama v0.40.11 released with speech generation support on macOS
Ollama v0.40.11 has been released, featuring speech generation on macOS and the introduction of d3 decision models from vLLM Semantic Router.
Ollama v0.40.11 has been released. It now enables speech generation on macOS, where ollama run can play text or a chat model's reply aloud as audio is generated. Additionally, apps can stream audio via the OpenAI-compatible /v1/audio/speech endpoint.
Ollama also introduces d3 decision models from vLLM Semantic Router. By providing text, structured state, or an image, the model can classify, answer yes or no, or score options with probabilities. The d3 family includes 2B, 4B, 9B, and 27B sizes.
This release also includes the first contribution from @SynapShift in #19173.
