LangChain releases langchain-core 1.7.0
langchain-core 1.7.0 has been released. It adds the emission of tool-call-delta for streamed tool-call arguments.
LangChain has released langchain-core 1.7.0, which is an update from langchain-core 1.6.13.
With this change, streamed tool-call arguments are now emitted as tool-call-delta slices instead of block-delta snapshots of the arguments so far. When reading raw stream events mid-stream, tool-call-delta should be read.
However, tool_calls.get() and .output remain unchanged. To maintain snapshots, langchain-core must be pinned to a version less than 1.7. Additionally, since 1.6.13, iterating ChatModelStream.tool_calls yields each call's new args slice rather than a snapshot of the args so far.
