Moving ComfyUI from Intel Arc to Arm's WSL2: Component versions did not match despite same requirements
Moved a ComfyUI image workflow from a PC with Intel Arc integrated GPU to WSL2 on a Surface Laptop Ultra (Arm Windows, NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X). Using the official Linux version for Arm PyTorch (2.14.1+cu132), redraw speed improved by about 2.4 times, though torchaud was not installed.
A ComfyUI image workflow was moved from a current PC with Intel Arc integrated GPU to the WSL2 of a Surface Laptop Ultra (Arm Windows, NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X). During the move, the official Linux version for Arm PyTorch (2.14.1+cu132) was installed and ran on the GPU.
Comparing the time to redraw the same image with models already loaded (sampling and decoding), the time was 21.60 seconds on the new setup compared to 50.87 seconds on the current PC, making it approximately 2.4 times faster. However, torchaud was not installed during the migration.
